JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities

·      Installation: Install wiring, lighting, control systems, and other electrical components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
·      Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
·      Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including troubleshooting problems with circuits, breakers, and wiring.
·      Compliance: Adhere to local and national electrical codes and safety regulations to ensure the integrity and safety of electrical installations.
·      Testing: Conduct tests and inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues or potential hazards.
·      Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used, and provide detailed reports as needed.
·      Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion.
·      Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain electrical issues, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
·      Leadership: Proven track record and leading and training journeyman electricians and apprentice electricians.

Qualifications

·      Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited apprenticeship program.
·      Experience: Proven experience as a Foreman Electrician, with a strong portfolio of completed projects via 8+ years of journey level experience.
·      Licensing: Valid Journeyman Electrician license as required by local authorities, certified Master Electrician preferred.
·      Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; strong understanding of electrical systems and components; excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
·      Physical Requirements: Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions; able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
·      Personal Attributes: Attention to detail, strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
·      Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Working Conditions

Foreman Electricians typically work in a variety of environments, including construction sites, residential properties, and commercial buildings. The role may require working in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions. Safety equipment and protocols must be followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

Salary and Benefits

Compensation for a Foreman Electrician varies based on experience, location, and scope. This position may include an annual bonus based upon the successful completion of associated projects under the Foreman’s leadership. 100% company paid health, dental & vision benefits for employee.
